ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

Whilst the Club was initially more traditional, it has now developed its reputation to be a club offering all genres of jazz and we are pleased to say it is well supported. The Festival provides scope for an even wider range of jazz appreciation and offers wall to wall music of an eclectic mix of styles and always top class good music. Young musicians are especially welcomed (as are young audiences!) because they are the future of jazz, and a number of young bands have returned to Pershore with noticeable maturity since their last visit.

We find more musicians and fans from overseas are enquiring about our events because jazz is a truly international music and here at Pershore we are pleased and proud to be just a small part of it. We are a not-for-profit organisation run by a small unpaid committee dedicated to the cause of quality jazz for all to enjoy.
